Lovely relaxing afternoon
Our carers love Jacquie’s sessions. It’s a chance for them to get together and have some me time away from their caring role. Jacquie shared with us some gentle breathing techniques and easy movement exercises that we could use at home and she even brought along and demonstrated some of her sound instruments. A lovely relaxing afternoon.  Thank you Jacquie.

Mindfulness Group Session
Jacquie came along to our Social group in Scarborough this month.
Everyone really enjoyed the morning, learning how to slow down &  take time out for themselves using the breathing exercises and other techniques Jacquie demonstrated.
Jacquie was also on hand to answer any personal questions people had at the end of the morning which many people found a great help.
We are looking forward to another group session  in the New Year.
Mindfulness session for Newby & Scalby Library volunteers as part of Mental Health Awareness Week
Thank you so much for yesterday morning at the library.  It was so interesting and really made me think. You are such a calm and inspirational person - I could easily have spent another couple of hours with you!
Space to Breathe
Jacquie led another wonderful Mindfulness session, for our Carers Support Group at the end of March 2022. The weather was nice so Jacquie helped us to really take in the sights, smells and sounds of the  the lovely garden at The Friends Meeting House.  We all came away feeling relaxed and with simple techniques we can practice at home. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.
